Eagle Watching Trip

Winter's Day on the Farm

Enjoy a tractor pulled wagon ride, and assist with maple tapping, sawing wood, cracking corn, collecting eggs, and churning butter. Watch ice as it's harvested on the pond, weather permitting. See wood stove cooking demonstrated in the Farmhouse and The Willows kitchens.

Cost: Admission is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors (65+), $4 for children ages (4-16), and $2 for children ages 2 and 3. FREE for children under age 2 and friends members with a valid membership I.D.

Maple Sugaring Demonstrations and Festival

Family Photo Scavenger Hunt

Grab a camera or phone and stop by the Haggerty Education Center for this month’s nature photo scavenger hunt. Take a photo of every item and receive a prize. Theme and prizes change monthly. A great way to get the family outdoors all year round.

Tackle the Trail 5K

Mark your calendars and get out your running shoes! The third annual Tackle the Trail 5K & 1-Mile Fitness/Dog Walk will be held on Sunday, April 15 at 9am at Central Park of Morris County. White-tailed Deer Management Program

The Morris County Park Commission is conducting a controlled deer hunt. Please refer to the hunt schedule for park and trail closures. Hunting is by Park Commission-issued special permit only. Permits are no longer available for the 2011/12 Program. Contact (973) 326-7600 with any questions.
