This one-story wooden building was completed in 1849 and used to store Stephen's carriages. The inventory of his estate lists two carriages, two sleighs, two wagons and two buggies, which he probably kept in this carriage house. The 1849 Carriange House now houses the Historic Speedwell Museum Shop.
